Evaluation and Selection. Thoroughly examine your records and analyze the results. Those colonies (queens) showing movement toward your goals become candidates for further selection. Any showing no improvement or the wrong movement are not used for selection. Those queens are either replaced or the queen eliminated, and the bees combined with another colony. Look at the big picture during the evaluation/selection process; don't focus entirely on any one characteristic/ trait/behavior. You may find some interesting and thoughtful decisions will have to be made.
