KAITLYN BASEHOAR, OF Littlestown, Pa., can take full credit for the new Kuhn Model GMD 280 disk mower now knocking down hay on her family's Crystal Spring Farm. Basehoar was the first winner of the Kuhn's nationwide Golden Giveaway.Her name was drawn from a pool of thousands of entries received in the first half of 2017 in the company's 50th anniversary celebration of pioneering disk mower technology. When asked what her role on the farm is, Basehoar said with a beaming grin, "farmer's wife." She pitches in with the chores. "I do whatever I can to help, especially with hay and straw."
