The European Union has acknowledged the unfair competitive advantages occurring in our industry, a theme which has been often highlighted on these pages regarding the distortions and manipulations on the market for access to raw materials, with specific reference to primary aluminium, a commodity which is unfortunately in endemic and structural short supply in Europe considering the unsustainable energy costs of production, at least in the present situation.
