A couple of months ago,I was chatting on the jobsite with a client,a retired doctor who happens to be my age.Our dialogue led us to talking about our kids and our parents.It seems rare these days for adults in their late 40s and early 50s to still have both of their parents living,and in laws as well.Those of us with kids find ourselves constantly looking up and down the road of life.That resonates for me,because I have always discussed my business ownership as a bit of a mind-altering journey,wherein I am constantiy looking at least 30 days behind and 30 days ahead with eyes on receivables,cash flow,scheduling and customer satisfaction.
