Tullow Oil gets Ghana Jubilee SE hope as Uganda sale closes

Tullow Oil will have more wiggle room for spending on its Jubilee Southeast project off Ghana when it reveals its new strategy next week after finally closing its chequered history in Uganda with the sale going through. The company sold its remaining stake in the Lake Albert oilfield to Total for US $575m - with $75m of this dependent on the final investment decision being made, something that is likely to happen shortly as the French operator is reviewing final commercial tenders.
