Eni confirmed it is to slow projects off Angola as part of its cut in capex for the year. The company previously announced a 30% cut in capex for the year of around US $2.2 Bn with the figure for the final three quarters a hefty 40%. "The main projects that have been postponed are the Rovu-ma LNG - in Angola our activities in the Caba?a Norte and Agogo, the Merakes in Indonesia, expenditure in Iraq in Zubair, some reduction in Egypt and in the UAE," said chief upstream officer Allesandro Puliti last week.
