Cash rich VAALCO is preparing for its next drilling campaign off Gabon with a new seismic shoot to be completed before the end of the year. The US independent has US $37m in the bank and is fully cash funded from its current production - meaning it has also been scouring the market for producing assets in West Africa or those that have development opportunities.
