Mozambique's government plans to establish a sovereign wealth fund to manage income from future gas production, President Filipe Nyusi said The country's financial image is still deeply tarnished by the "tuna bond" scandal, with government officials and bankers charged earlier this quarter for offences relating to US $2 Bn of government loans from Credit Suisse and Russian bank VTB Capital which were concealed from donors including the IMF.
