BP looking to offload Egypt oil assets to SDX

SDX Energy confirmed it is looking to buy "a significant package of assets" from BP in Egypt. Earlier this year BP decided to sell its maturing oil fields in Egypt for around US S5()()m as it switches future investment in the country to gas. The assets are mainly based in the Gulf of Suez.
