Clontarf closes on Ghana block after a decade of talks

Clontarf Energy is finally hoping to be awarded its block in Ghana - more than 10 years after the first application. The company and national oil firm GNPC first executed a petroleum agreement for Block 2A in the Tano Basin back in early 2008. Since then it has been revised, amended, been the subject of litigation, reduced and expanded.
