Eni to make Angola and Congo B project decisions this year

Eni will make final investment decisions (FID) on the Kalimba project off Angola and Nene Phase 2 off Congo Brazzaville before the end of the year. The Kalimba find was only made last quarter and is estimated to hold around 300m bbl of light oil in the south of Block 15/06 which until now had been thought to be predominantly gas prone. Eni will now drill further exploration wells in the acreage later this year but said a final investment decision will be made next quarter.
