Perenco buys out Petrofac from Tunisia

Perenco has bought out Petrofac from the Chergui field in Tunisia. The development is on Kerkennah Island in the Gulf of Gabes, 30km east of the city of Sfax. The central production facility can handle up to 20 MMcf/d. A 57km pipeline to shore ties in to the main pipeline to Tunis and supplies up to 13% of the country's needs.
