Ophir Energy is trying to pick up the pieces of its Fortunate FLNG project after the withdrawal today of one of the major partners - Schlumberger. The UK operator already faced severe problems raising financing and lost its chief executive earlier this month after the government warned any further delays would mean it would take back the acreage.
