Anglo African has signed the exclusive right to negotiate to acquire two producing fields as it raises cash to complete a new exploration well in Congo Brazzaville. The UK minnow recently took over the Tilapia field and is completing workover on two existing wells and is waiting for a rig to arrive to drill a new development well that will also test deeper exploration horizons. It is looking to raise extra funding for this and said this morning it has "received several offers in this regard.''
