Total confirms Angola drilling double

Total confirmed it will drill a wildcat in new acreage off Angola next year as well as restarting exploration in the development area of "Golden" Block 17. Olivier Jouny, Total's general manager in Angola, met with the Angolan National Assembly's Commission on Economy and Finance last week. Afterwards he said the company would drill in the two blocks in 2020. In Block 17 Total is already looking to revive production into the existing FPSOs through projects such as Zinia Phase 2, CLOV Phase 2, Dalia Infill and Girassol Infill. However, next year it will start to look for the next phase of projects with new drilling.
