The Eni led consortium has been publicly confirmed as the operator of the Quiluma and Maboqueiro gas fields off Angola. Chevron had initially wanted operatorship of the gas duo which are the focus of the Northern Gas Complex two platform project but, as previously revealed by AOG, Eni won the power struggle and last year invited expressions of interest.
