Bidders wary as lenders target SEEPCO Nigeria assets

Bidders contesting tenders for Nigeria's Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Co (SEEPCO) may be wary as lenders are ramping up legal efforts to take over the oil assets. Lenders to Indian parent company Sandesara Group have appointed a legal counsel to file a suit in Nigeria in a bid to take charge of the group's assets there including exploration firm SEEPCO.
