Leader emerges for Mobil's Nigerian Ibot

ExxonMobil's Ibot platform project off Nigeria now appears to be a two horse race between the lowest bidders. As previously reported by AOG the US major and NAPIMS had selected around a dozen groups to receive invitations to tender with yard ownership being a priority. This was then whittled down to four companies that submitted commercial tenders in late February - Desicon, Deltatek, Nigerstar 7 and Saipem.
