The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), in partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory, is currently testing and validating bio-based synthetic engine oil in non-tactical federal vehicles. These tests are part of the DLA Aviation Hazardous Minimization (HAZMIN) and Green Products program.
