An Empirical Study of the Impact of Smartphone Liquid Crystal Display Lighting on Adolescents’ Learning Concentration

This study analyzed the impact of smart phone LCD lighting on adolescents’ learning concentration. A number of recent studies have reported smart phone LCD lighting has an influence on decreased concentration. Therefore, this study analyzed the impact of smart phone display LCDlighting on the learning concentration levels of 67 adolescents. As a result, it was understood that smart phone LCD display lighting has a direct influence on the attention concentration, learning interest, learning attitude and self-management items of adolescents, and consequently decreasesoverall learning concentration in general. In these days, adolescents are exposed to various types of smart device LCD such as digital learning tools. Therefore, this result suggests a need for a systematic study on the impact of smart device LCD lighting on adolescents’ learning environment.
