The four common adhesive categories silicones, hybrids, acrylates and polyure-thanes (PU) have very different properties that must be understood {Figure 1). Because only then the best adhesive for the respective task and application in the construction sector can be identified. Below, the properties of the respective adhesives are outlined with regard to their respective applications.
