Conquering the slopes with spread-tow carbon fabrics

Spread-tow carbon fibre fabrics from Oxeon of Boras, Sweden, have been used to produce high-performance skis. Weighing only 1740 g each, Faction Skis' Prime skis are made using a hybrid balsa and flax core and three layers of Oxeon's TeXtreme fabric.
