摘要

Chronic ankle instability (CAI) from recurrent lateral ankle sprains is a self-perpetuating problem. Recurrent ankle sprains lead to more instability which leads to more ankle sprains. This study, published in the February 2018 issue of Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise? (MSSE), from West Chester University evaluated the kinetic and energetic patterns during jumping and landing of people with a history of recurrent sprains and subsequent instability, and compared them with controls with no ankle injury history (1).
