General Cable supplies ASCR cable to North Dakota

US cable producer, General Cable has been awarded a contract by Basin Electric Power Cooperative, one of the largest electric generation and transmission cooperatives in the US.In the contract valued at $10 million, General Cable will supply overhead conductor for a new 345 kV transmission line in north-western North Dakota, US. The transmission line will run from the Antelope Valley Station to substations near Grassy Butte and Williston, ending at the Neset substation near Tioga.
