Multi-metal producer Kobe Steel of Japan has violated the country's industrial standards for copper productsmade at its Hatano plant, executive vice-president Naoto Umehara said."There has been also some impact on our business as we have lost credibility," he told a news conference,citing cases of the company losing orders and customers switching to competitors. "We have lost public trustand all we can do is restore our reputation step by step."
