The Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) is having to increase the discount it offers on the iron ore it ships to China.The Beijing government's policy of ordering heavy industry to cut production in large parts of the country toease winter pollution is leading to steel mills buying higher grade ores than the material of around 58.5% Fecontent which Fortescue typically sells.
