According to CRU's January 2018 Copper Market Outlook, over 20%, equivalent to 75,000t, of this year's World ex-China increase in refined copper consumption is expected to occur in India and Brazil. This is despite the fact that together the two countries account for only 8% of absolute global demand outside China.
