Overall demand for die cast and foundry alloys has continued to be steady and firm, however,some softness was experienced in May. Market contacts reported that Q1 2018 was verygood, and that positive momentum continued into April and the first three weeks of May.Some slowness occurred at the end of May around the Memorial Day holiday in the US.
