摘要

African American (AA) children are twice as likely as all other children to grow up in households without their biological father [1,2]. Thus, the numbers of non-resident fathers (fathers living apart from their children) are more prevalent in AA families [2]. When parents are living apart, the risks for estranged father-child relationships run high [3].
