Obstetrics in Family Medicine belongs to a series of books named "Current Clinical Practice". The text is a single person enterprise: Paul Lyons from the Department of Family and Community Medicine of the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, presents the essence of ante-partum, intrapartum, and postpartum physiology, pathology, and care. In the preface, he lists a number of health-care professions whose members it addresses, in short, all providers who include women in their practice.
