Germany's exploration of the renewable energy market continues to gather pace with Bavarian, firms reaching across borders to lay foundations in the US. Energy storage provider Sonnebatterie is leading the way by increasing its grip on North America's Energy Storage Systems (ESS) market. In August it teamed up with US's Ideal Power to launch a lithium-ion ESS for the North American commercial market based on a 30kW and 24kWh building block.
