IAEA publishes results of a research project on cable ageing

The IAEA has published the results of a four-year research project focusing on cable degradation monitoring and ageing management for operating reactors and the next generation of nuclear facilities. The IAEA technical document, titled: 'Benchmark analysis for condition monitoring test techniques of aged low voltage cables in nuclear power plants (IAEA-TECDOC-1825)', presents the work of 17 academic and nuclear technology institutions in 13 member states.
