Electronic advances and some clinical issues

The summer has passed with varying weather in the Nordic countries, hopefully pleasant holidays for readers, contributors and editors alike and a successful and well attended Nordic Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Reykjavik during sunny June days. Acta has had an almost too good summer too, because we have already had more articles submitted this year than during the whole of last year. This has stretched the Editors' working capacity as well as our reviewers and some authors have waited longer than ideal for news of their articles. For this we apologize and also for unfortunate but inevitable delays with the printed July and August issues.
