In the recent paper Cheviakov (2017) symbolic computations of equivalence transformations for partial differential equations were discussed. When discussing the theory of the method the author expressed doubt in correctness of the example presented in Meleshko (1996)..In this Comment the proof of correctness of that (particular) example is presented.
