摘要

Pollen morphology of 8 varieties of Olea europaea, including a group of 4 genetically closely related cultivars (Frantoio group), weren studied using Image Analysis linked to scanning electron microscopy (SEM). A wide range of measurements was obtained from digitized SEM images of whole pollen grains and exine patterns. Cultivars were grouped into 5 clusters.
