Minwax gives community craftsman award

Minwax has selected the Shoreham-Wading River High School's Industrial and Arts and Technology Program of Shoreham,NY as the grand prize winner of the 2005 Community Craftsman Award.This national contest,now is its 15th year,recognizes volunteers that"do good with wood"to better their communities.Students at Shoreham-Wading River High School were honored at an awards ceremony where they received a 5,000 cash grant,a supply of Minwax products and a private woodworking lesson with DIY personality and author Bruce Johnson.
