GE Advanced Materials offers new additives

GE Advanced Materials has introduced CoatOSil Y-15790 and Y-15791 wetting agents.These fluorine-free additives offer high performance flow,leveling,spreading and wetting capabilities over a wider pH range for coatings formulators,according to the company.The new wetting agents are effective at low loading levels and have broad applicability in architectural,floor and automotive coatings.CoatOSil Y-15790 and Y-15791 can be used in polyurethane,acrylic,epoxy and polyester resin-based systems and produce exceptional performance in water-based formulations with pH levels from six to 11,surpassing the earlier generation of high performance CoatOSil wetting agents.More info:GE Advanced Materials,(607)786-8131,(800)295-2392;Web:www.ge.com /silicones.
