Emergy analysis of irrigated organic and conventional production of olive and olive oil in Crete, Greece 'preliminary study'

Olive is the oldest known cultivated crop in the world. Recently, the largest three producer countries of olive oil are Spain, Italy and Greece. Greece produces about 16.76% of the total world production that reaches about 1.800.8000 in the last years (FAO, 1990-1998).
