摘要

Plants of the cultivar Bonica were grown in a greenhouse and treated with different levels of NPK. The analysis of the non-structural carbohydrate content was made on the separated skin and pulp tissues of the fruit. The non-structural carbohydratecontent of the skin was 70% less than that of the pulp. The level of K in the nutrient solution had the largest effect on carbohydrate levels of both tissues, particularly starch and sucrose, K having a beneficial effect in facilitating transport of carbohydrates to the pulp. Excess P had a negative effect on carbohydrate concentrations.
