摘要

The European Community-funded project "Optimal control of nitrate accumulation in greenhouse lettuce and other leafy vegetables - NiCoLet" has led to the development of a dynamic model capable of simulating lettuce growth under a wide range of environmental conditions, covering both normal and severe nitrogen stress situations. To date, several versions of the model have been presented and validated using experimental data. This paper describes a user-friendly, internet-based version of the NiCoLet lettuce model that includes most of the versions currently available. This simulation tool can be used as a decision-support tool for growers and extension agents, and for teaching students crop simulation modelling.
