Avdiivka Coke maintains high capacity utilization despite several issues

Avdiivka Coke (Donetsk region; a part of Metinvest) is still experiencing coking coal supply issues dueto railcars shortage in Ukraine. In November, the plant received 408,300 t of coal instead of the targeted437,000 t, Metal Expert learnt. The largest part of the missing volume was to be supplied from Yuzhnysea port (Zh and K coal rank). St. Matrona of Moscow mine (Zh coal) has been failing to supply as muchas it had to for the fourth consecutive month. At the same time, Russian companies have fulfilled theircontractual obligations almost completely.
