This paper highlights recent advances in research on heat therapy of horticultural crops, with emphasis on the beneficial effects of heat treatment and fungicides applied in combination. The relationships among residue levels in fruits, persistence, and effectiveness of conventional and novel fungicides following standard treatment at room temperature or with reduced rates of heated chemicals are discussed..
