NMR fingerprints reveal novel natural products

Researchers from the Eskitis Institute for Drug Discovery, Griffith University, have reported an application of NMR fingerprints of a pre-fractionated natural product library. Their methodology allows a non-targeted interrogation of the druglike natural product metabolome, which has the potential to simplify and accelerate isolation and identification of new natural products (Grkovic T., Pouwer R.H., Vial M.-L, Gambini L, Noel A., Hooper J.N.A., Wood S.A., Mellick G.D., Quinn R.J.
