UNITED KINGDOM CONTRIBUTES ￡1.1 M TO SUPPORT OPCW ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING FUTURE CENTRE FOR CHEMISTRY AND TECHNOLOGY

The Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has contributed ￡1.1M to support a number of major projects and activities of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). OPCW Director-General, H.E. Mr Fernando Arias, and the United Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the OPCW, H.E. Ambassador Peter Wilson, formalised the donation yesterday at a ceremony held at OPCW Headquarters in The Hague.
