Abstract >Im Sonderforschungsbereich ?Funktion durch Schalten“ an der Universit?t zu Kiel stehen kleinste, molekulare Maschinen im Mittelpunkt der Forschung im Bereich der Nanowissenschaften. Die technisch und pr?parativ anspruchsvollen Forschungsaufgaben werden in einem Teilprojekt zur ?ffentlichkeitsarbeit für verschiedene Lernanl?sse didaktisch aufbereitet. Dies geschieht in enger Kooperation von Chemiedidaktik und Fachwissenschaften. Ein Hauptaugenmerk liegt dabei auf dem Erfahrbarmachen von mikro‐ und nanodimensionierten (schaltbaren) Strukturen und Schichten für Schülerinnen sowie Schüler. Zwei Beispiele, die Schichtdickenbestimmung einer Seifenblasenhaut und die Generierung einer mikro‐ und nanostrukturierten Oberfl?che mit Lotos‐Effekt, werden im Arbeitsmaterial behandelt.
