摘要

The workshop focuses on the growing demand for sustainable materials which has led to the development of new approaches that utilize biobased materials which have very different chemistries from petrochemical feedstocks. Presentations and discussions will focus on new processing strategies that will enable the development of next generation materials or enabling the production of new platform chemicals from bio-based feedstocks. Presentations will discuss advances in flow reaction technology based on the use of process intensification concepts to improve performance of unit operations. The use of process analytics coupled with modeling to enable optimized end to end continuous processing will also be discussed.
