EPA will allow ‘incremental payments’ for TSCA fees

The US EPA has started sending out invoices to companies responsible for paying a share of the $1.35m fee that comes with each of the next 20 TSCA risk evaluations for high-priority chemicals. Roughly one-third of the total amount owed by each company is due on 2 January, the original deadline to pay the fees. Companies will then receive a second invoice, with "the remainder of the fees" due by 4 September, an EPA spokesperson told Chemical Watch.
