Report on Council's participation inANUGA 2019

The Cashew Export Promotion Council of India has participated as an exhibitor in ANUGA 2019, one of the largest food and beverages fairs in the world, held in Cologne, Germany, from 5th to 9th October 2019. This year, the exhibition was with participation from 7,390 exhibitors covering 105 countries and with more than 1,70,000 visitors from 200 countries.Responses received from the visitors were very encouraging. The health advantages of consuming cashew and its innumerable possibilities as a food ingredient apart from the traditional usage as a snack food, etc. were highlighted. Promotional brochures giving commercial information, Directory of member exporters, grade specifications, etc. were distributed as hand-outs. Samples of cashew kernels were provided to visitors.
