On trawlers and workboats - a personal account of a Forest Officer in Papua New Guinea

Over the period 1966 to 1968 workboats, trawlers and speedboats were an integral part of my involvement with projects undertaken by the Territory of Papua and New Guinea's Department of Forests. The workboats and trawlers were owned by the Territory Administration and were available to all Government Departments on request. Rabaul was the largest town and centre of Administration for the islands of New Britain, New Ireland, Manus and Bougainville.
