The Canadian Association of Gastroenterology Strategic Plan: Where are we in 2014?

A Strategic Plan for the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) was first established in 1993 and a new plan was set again in 2004. The most recent strategic plan for the period of 2010-2015 has been published (1), and we take this opportunity to update you on the initiatives completed or underway toward the goals set in 2010. GOAL: CAG will enhance support for our research community's traditional strengths in biomedical and clinical research, while broadening its scope to the other CIHR pillars, including quality assurance, by maintaining current and developing new funding partnerships to sustain and enhance research funding through studentships, fellowships, operating grants, and career support awards
